UNCASVILLE, Conn. -- The Creighton women's basketball team battled second-seeded Marquette to the wire but fell 64-59 in the semifinals of the 2021 BIG EAST Tournament on Sunday, March 7th.
CU trailed 60-54 with 1:13 left before DeArica Pryor's driving lay-up brought CU within four. On its next trip, freshman Jayme Horan's three-pointer from the top of the key with 28.8 seconds left trimmed MU's lead to 60-59.
Creighton still had three fouls to give after Horan's basket and used the next 12 seconds to take those. The Bluejays would send Selena Lott to the line with 13.
