Women's Basketball Takes Battle of Omaha, 71-51

<strong>OMAHA, Neb. </strong>-- A 14-2 run to open the fourth quarter helped the Creighton women's basketball team pick up its first win of the season, a 71-51 victory vs. Omaha on Saturday, Nov. 13 at D.J. Sokol Arena.<br /> <br /> The victory was Creighton's 15th straight in the series as the Bluejays took a lead in the series (16-15) for the first time.<br /> <br /> Neither team scored in the first 3:55 and the Bluejays didn't get on the board until 5:16 remained in the first quarter when Jayme Horan scored off an inbounds pass.
