OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton used a 37-7 scoring run to overcome a 14-point third quarter deficit and beat Seton Hall, 80-71, on Sunday, Feb. 10 at D.J. Sokol Arena.
Creighton (11-13, 5-8 BIG EAST) snapped a five-game losing streak while avenging a loss last month in South Orange to Seton Hall (14-10, 6-7 BIG EAST).
Creighton trailed 46-32 with seven minutes to play in the third quarter before embarking on their run. Audrey Faber scored the first five points to start a 17-2 run that gave Creighton its first lead since 6-4.
The Bluejays would eventually build a lead as large as 77-62 with just under two minutes two play before holding off a 9-0 run by the Pirates that narrowed the gap to six in the final 30 seconds.
