Women's Basketball Opens 2018-19 Campaign Versus South Dakota

Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton women's basketball team begins the 2018-19 season on Wednesday, Nov. 7th as the Bluejays face South Dakota at 6:00 pm at home in D.J. Sokol Arena. The game will feature the return to the court after more than two seasons of senior Jade Owens.

Lining Up for the Tip

• Creighton and South Dakota have faced off in seven of the past eight seasons. The only omission coming during the 2016-17 campaign.
• The Bluejays hold a slim 12-11 lead on the Coyotes, but have claimed nine of 12 meetings in Omaha.
