Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton women's basketball head coach Jim Flanery officially inked Lexi Unruh on national signing day, Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Coming to the Bluejays from Sioux Falls, S.D., the 5-11 guard is a completing her fifth season with Sioux Falls Christian HS (SFCHS) as she suited up for the Chargers for limited action as an eighth grader. Sidelined by an injury during the 2019-20 season, Unruh was a First Team All-State selection in 2018-19 as well as a First Team All-Dak 12 selection as both a freshman and sophomore. Unruh has shown the ability to be highly disruptive on the defensive end, setting the SFCHS single-season record with 93 steals in 2018-19.
