Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton women's basketball team officially kicked off the 2020-21 season with its first team practice on Friday, Oct. 16.
"Even though its been a different fall and summer than we've been accustomed to, there is nothing like the first day of practice in terms of enthusiasm and energy," said Flanery. "Everyone was engaged and we all recognize this is becoming more real. With five freshman to incorporate there will undoubtedly be challenging days, but I have tremendous confidence in the leadership of this team."
The Bluejays 2019-20 season came to a close with Creighton on the cusp of earning its fifth NCAA Tournament big under head coach Jim Flanery.
