FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Morgan Maly tied her career-high with 20 points and the Creighton bench contributed 44 points as the Bluejay women's basketball team closed non-conference play with an 81-72 road win at Arkansas on Tuesday, Dec. 21.
Creighton improved to 8-3 with the victory, its seventh in the last eight games. Arkansas had a four-game win streak snapped, falling to 10-3 overall.
Creighton led dominated the first half, getting six points from Rachael Saunders to build a 16-8 lead and eventually settle for a 16-13 advantage after one quarter.
