Omaha, Neb. -- Powered by ten treys in the opening half as well as a 9-0 run to start the game, the Creighton women's basketball team defeated Nebraska 78-62 on Monday, Dec. 14.
With the win the Bluejays moved to 2-3 on the season, while Nebraska suffered its first loss to fall to 3-1 on the year.
The Bluejays return to the floor on Thursday, Dec. 17 as Creighton faces No. 3 Connecticut in a road game at 5:30 pm (CT).
