Womens' Basketball Beats Nebraska For Third Straight Year

OMAHA, Neb. -- A 21-7 run spanning most of the third quarter helped Creighton overcome a halftime deficit to defeat Nebraska, 74-65, at D.J. Sokol Arena on Sunday, Dec. 2. The Bluejay victory clinched a third straight victory over the Huskers for the first time in 45 all-time meetings between the in-state rivals.

Tatum Rembao entered the afternoon averaging 6.8 points per game, but the sophomore provided career-highs with 18 points and six assists. Audrey Faber led Creighton with 18 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double, and Olivia Elger contributed 16 points.
