OMAHA, Neb. – Junior hit a pair of two-run home runs and the Bluejays offense exploded for 11 hits in an 11-6 win over DePaul on Senior Day at the Creighton Sports Complex.
The win snaps a 14-game losing skid as the Bluejays improve to 15-26 on the year and 5-16 in BIG EAST play. DePaul suffers just their second loss in their last 14 conference games and fall to 25-21 on the year and 13-7 in league play.
Creighton and DePaul will conclude their three-game series on Sunday afternoon, with first pitch scheduled for 12 p.
