WICHITA, Kan. -- The Creighton baseball team extended their win streak to six as juniors Dylan Tebrake and Jared Wegner powered the Bluejays to a 6-1 win over Wichita State on Friday night at Eck Stadium.
The Bluejays improved to 10-6 on the year with their sixth straight win over Wichita State, while the Shockers fall to 10-11 overall.
Creighton wasted no time taking the early 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Alan Roden walked with one out, advanced to third on Jared Wegner's double to the right field wall and came around to score on Chris Esposito's sacrifice fly to left.
