Omaha, Neb. -- Battling through a pair of lightning delays, Creighton Men's Soccer battled Loyola Chicago to a 1-1 draw in the opening round of the Jesuit Invitational on Thursday, August 29.
Creighton moved to 1-0-2 following Thursday's action, while Loyola closed the contest 0-1-1.
The Bluejays struck first as headed home a pass from in the 39th minute (38:43). Shortly after halftime the Ramblers responded as Jack McFeely pushed in a pass from Julian Csneros and Quinten Blair in the 48th minute (47:56).
During the 57th minute of action lightning caused the first delay of the contest.
