OMAHA, Neb. -- Two members of the Creighton Volleyball team earned Player of the Week recognition on Monday as the BIG EAST handed out its final weekly honors of the season. Ava Martin was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, while Kiara Reinhardt brought home BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
A junior from Overland Park, Kan., Martin averaged 4.71 kills, 2.00 digs, 0.29 blocks and 0.14 aces per set while hitting .429 as Creighton finished off an unbeaten league record with road wins at DePaul (3-1) and Xavier (3-0).
