PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- No. 21 Creighton Volleyball completed a weekend road sweep on Saturday with a 3-0 victory over host Providence.
Scores of Creighton's season-long sixth straight win were 25-14, 25-22, 25-12. The Bluejays improved to 14-3 overall and are 6-0 in BIG EAST play, while Providence fell to 9-10 and 1-5 in BIG EAST action while suffering its first home loss of the fall.
Creighton fell behind 10-6 in the opening points of the match before a timeout from Kirsten Bernthal Booth turned around the Bluejay fortunes. CU would score 19 of the next 23 points to cruise to a 25-14 win, including a 9-0 serving run from Keeley Davis that featured two of three aces she had in the set.
