The No. 12 ranked Creighton volleyball team opened the 2024 season with the Bluejay Invitational, hosting North Carolina State, Missouri and Drake at D.J. Sokol Arena this past weekend.
Coming off a Big East Conference Championship title and NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance last season, the Jays looked to continue the success and make a deep run this fall.
Over the summer, the team made roster changes, most notably from the transfer portal, as libero Maddy Bilinovic from Penn State and Elise Goetzinger out of Kentucky joining the team. With the departure of defensive specialist Ellie Bolton, middle Kiana Schmitt and right-side Ellie Bichelmeyer, the transfers look to round out the new roster.
