OMAHA, Neb. -- Annalea Maeder has signed on the dotted line and will continue her volleyball career this fall with Creighton Volleyball. Hailing from Basel, Switzerland, Maeder has spent the past four seasons playing for the University of California, Berkeley, and will have one year of eligibility to play with the Bluejays after she arrives this summer.
A 6-foot-1 setter, Maeder has accumulated 2,759 assists, 809 digs, 123 aces and 117 blocks over 94 matches with the Golden Bears.
"I think Anna is a great setter, but she's also a great defensive player in both the front and back row," said Creighton head coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth.
