OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Volleyball team is ranked 20th in the AVCA Division I Coaches Top 25 poll, which was released on Monday, Aug. 28. That's a drop of two spots from its preseason slotting of No. 18 and comes after Creighton went 2-1 with a victory over No. 16 Purdue to win the Reamer Club Xtra Special Premier last weekend in West Lafayette, Ind.
The Bluejays are one of 18 schools (along with Baylor, BYU, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Pitt, Purdue, Stanford, Texas, Western Kentucky and Wisconsin) to have been ranked each of the last 32 polls.
