OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Volleyball team is ranked for the 20th straight week, moving up one spot to No. 21st in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.
Creighton (10-3) opened BIG EAST play with decisive sweeps over both Georgetown and Villanova, outscoring the opposition by a combined 150-84.
Creighton's BIG EAST rival Marquette (11-1, 2-0 BIG EAST) has won nine straight matches but held steady at 19th for the third straight week.
Texas captured all 64 of the first place votes to remain atop the poll. The Longhorns are followed by Louisville, Nebraska, San Diego and Purdue.
