OMAHA, Neb. -- Nine straight wins and an NCAA-best 26 victories have helped the Creighton Volleyball team improve its standing on a national level with less than two weeks until the NCAA Tournament bracket is unveiled. The Bluejays improved one spot to 12th in the seventh edition of the official version of the RPI released by the NCAA, and climbed two spots to 21st in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.
The changes come after Creighton (26-3, 14-2 BIG EAST) hammered Georgetown and Villanova on the road last weekend, outscoring the Hoyas and Wildcats 150-86.
