OMAHA, Neb. – Elise Goetzinger, who started in Kentucky's national championship victory in Omaha in the spring of 2021, is transferring to play volleyball at Creighton. The 6-foot-4 middle blocker from Blue Mounds, Wis., will enroll at Creighton this spring and compete in her final year of eligibility in a Bluejay uniform.
Goetzinger (GETS-ing-er) averaged 2.58 kills and 0.74 blocks per set while hitting .295 at Kentucky this past season, helping the Wildcats to a seventh straight Southeastern Conference title.
"We are excited to add Elise to our team this spring," said Creighton head coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth.
