OMAHA, Neb. -- Erica Kostelac, an outside hitter who recorded 590 kills in the previous two seasons at the University of Cincinnati, will transfer to Creighton and play volleyball for head coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth's program.
Kostelac (COST-uh-lack) recently visited Creighton and signed the paperwork to finalize her transfer on Monday evening. The 6-foot-2 native of Chardon, Ohio, will arrive on campus in January with two seasons of eligibility remaining while pursuing a degree in Theology.
"Creighton is a great school with a great volleyball program," said Kostelac. "I was pleased to hear how important volleyball is to the state of Nebraska and am so excited to get started in January.
