OMAHA, Neb. -- Freshman Tucker Knaak fired a 3-under 69 on Sunday and earned a two-shot victory at the UNI Invitational on Sunday. It was Knaak's first win as a collegian, and he's the first Bluejay to win a meet since Kade Brown won the 2016 Jackrabbit Invitational on March 7-8, 2016.
Knaak was tied for third place entering the day after firing a 74 on Saturday, but his 69 on Sunday was the lowest round by any player in the tournament. He earned a two shot win over Southwestern CC's Oliver Pearson.
Nate Vontz tied for 10th place after rounds of 76 and 73, and Koy Potthoff tied for 16th place with circuits of 76 and 75.
