College Park, Maryland -- Solo home runs from juniors Isaac Collins, Jordan Hovey and David Vilches powered the Creighton Baseball team to a 3-2 win in the series opener on Friday, March 22.
The win lifted Creighton to 9-5 on the season, while Maryland fell to 12-9.
The Bluejays and Terrapins continue their three-game series on Saturday, March 23 with first pitch set for 1:00 pm.
