Omaha, Neb. -- Down 5-3 entering the ninth inning, Creighton Baseball plated three runs to walk off Nebraska on Tuesday, March 21 with a 6-5 win.
The victory vaulted Creighton to 8-7 on the season, while Nebraska dropped to 11-7-1.
Senior Jack Grace opened the Bluejay ninth with a pinch-hit single to left-center. Lifted for pinch runner Cooper Dulich, Creighton drew within one run at 5-4 courtesy of a one-out RBI single from senior Andrew Meggs. After junior Nolan Clifford was hit by a pitch, Nebraska head coach Will Bolt went to the bullpen for Brett Sears.
