Softball Win Streak Snapped In Game 2 Loss to SDSU

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Softball team had its three-game win streak snapped by South Dakota State on Wednesday, dropping the second game of a doubleheader by a 10-0 score. The game was shortened to five innings due to the eight-run rule.

Bryana Clark (6-7) shined in the circle for South Dakota State (12-21) in the nightcap, throwing a complete game one-hitter for her second shutout of the season. Ali Herdliska took care of the offense for SDSU, going 3-for-3 with two homers and five RBI to pace the Jackrabbit attack.

Creighton's lone hit came in the bottom of the fourth inning, as Allie Reinhart lined a clean single to center.
