Villanova received the remaining first place vote and was chosen to be the runner-up with 37 points, followed by DePaul with 36 points and Seton Hall with 30 points.
NEW YORK – As announced by the BIG EAST Conference on Monday, Creighton has been tabbed fifth in the Preseason Coaches' Poll, just one point shy of Seton Hall for fourth place. Last season's regular season and tournament champion, St. John's, was unanimously chosen to top the poll.
