KENNESAW, Ga. – The Creighton softball team manufactured 20 runs on 19 hits to sweep day two of the Kennesaw State Tournament. The Bluejays rolled to a 10-0 run-rule victory over Northern Kentucky, before hanging on for a 10-8 win over host Kennesaw State on Saturday at Bailey Park in Kennesaw, Ga.
The pair of wins lifted the Bluejays overall record to 6-3, while Northern Kentucky fell to 5-3 and Kennesaw State dropped to 2-6 overall.
