STORRS, Conn. – Six defensive miscues dropped the Creighton softball team in the series finale to UConn, 13-5, in five innings on Sunday morning at Burrill Family Field in Storrs, Conn. Creighton's six errors today were the most errors the Bluejay have had in a contest since also committing six errors against Seton Hall on May 4, 2019.
The Bluejays moved to 14-17 on the year and 4-9 in BIG EAST play with the setback, while UConn improved to 24-13 overall and 13-2 in conference action.
UConn opened the scoring in the bottom half of the first inning with a single unearned run.
