LINCOLN, Neb. – The Creighton softball team dropped their first midweek game of the year to Nebraska, 15-0, in five innings on Tuesday night at Bowlin Stadium during the first meeting between the Bluejays and Huskers in Lincoln since 2018.
The loss drops the Bluejays to 13-12 on the year, while the Huskers improve to 22-9 with the win.
Nebraska jumped on the Bluejays from the start, scoring six runs on four hits in the bottom of the first inning. Cam Ybarra drove in the first run of the game with a single to right center, before Mya Felder scored Ybarra on an RBI double down the left field line.
