OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton softball team fell 10-7 to Butler on Sunday at the Creighton Sports Complex.
The Bluejays dropped to 8-7 in BIG EAST action and 18-24 overall, while the Bulldogs improved to 6-8 in league play and 18-26 overall.
Creighton won the three-game series after claiming a pair of contests over Butler on Saturday.
The Bulldogs scored all 10 of their runs with two outs, launched four home runs and hit three doubles.
The Bluejays jumped out to an early 5-0 lead after the first two innings.
Sam Dellinger started the scoring with a two-run home run to left field during the opening frame.
