OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton softball team defeated Seton Hall 4-3 on Saturday to complete a three-game sweep at the Creighton Sports Complex.
The Bluejays moved to 6-6 in BIG EAST play and 15-22 overall, while the Pirates dropped to 5-7 in league play and 19-18-1 overall.
Creighton scored three runs with three consecutive RBI-doubles during the bottom of the first inning to take an early lead.
Sam Dellinger's double to right-center field drove in Tash Coffiel. Anna O'Gorman followed Dellinger with a double to left-center before Allie Reinhart doubled over the left fielder's head to drive in pinch-runner Kristin Fry from second to make it 3-0 in favor of the Bluejays.
