College Park, Md. -- Junior reliever Jonah Smith tossed 3.2 innings of impressive relief to help Creighton Baseball slip past Maryland 5-3 on Saturday, March 23.
The win moved Creighton to 10-5 on the season, giving the Bluejays the series win over the Terrapins as Creighton took the series opener on Friday night. Maryland fell to 12-10 overall with the loss.
The Bluejays got on the board with two runs in the third as junior Isaac Collins drew a walk, stole second and scored on an RBI double from Parker Upton.
