SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The Creighton softball team upended Saint Mary's, 4-0, behind a one-hit shutout from sophomore , before falling to UNLV, 4-3, during day two of the UC Santa Barbara Tournament on Saturday.
The Bluejays moved to 9-5 on the year with Saturday's results, while Saint Mary's fell to 8-9 and UNLV improved to 11-6 this season.

The first game of the day saw sophomore strike out a career-high six batters in a complete game one-hit shutout as the Bluejays upended Saint Mary's 4-0.
