OMAHA, Neb. -- Baylor Scheierman delivered the first triple-double in program history featuring points, rebounds and assists to lead No. 17 Creighton to a 94-72 win over Georgetown on Tuesday, February 13.
The victory lifted the Bluejays to 18-7 on the season and 9-5 in BIG EAST action, while Georgetown fell to 8-16 overall and 1-12 in conference play.
Scheierman began the contest as a distributor, dishing out seven assists in the opening half, while he scored 11 of his 15 points in the second half. The Nebraska native's triple-double was the fourth in program history, but the first since Benoit Benjamin had 29 points, 12 rebounds and 12 blocks at Bradley, on Feb.
