OMAHA, Neb. -- Sam Froling, a 6-foot-11 center from Canberra, Australia, has signed a letter-of-intent to play basketball at Creighton University.
Froling (FRO-ling) joins recruits Christian Bishop and Marcus Zegarowski in the Bluejay program, both of whom signed in the fall, and gives Creighton the No. 29 recruiting class per 247sports.com.
"We are excited to add Sam to our program," said Creighton head coach Greg McDermott. "His combination of size and skill is a perfect fit for the versatility we prefer in our front line players. His experience playing for Basketball Australia and at The Centre of Excellence has prepared him for the rigors of the Big East.
