OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton Men's Basketball freshman Ryan Nembhard has been named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week for the second time in as many weeks this season.
Nembhard averaged 15.7 points, 4.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game while helping Creighton to a 2-1 week. He shot 53.3 percent from the field (16-30), including 63.6 percent from deep (7-11), as well as 66.7 percent (8-12) at the line.
The Aurora, Ontario, Canada native opened his week with 22 points, five rebounds and five assists in a win at Nebraska.
