OMAHA, Neb. -- threw seven innings of shutout ball to help Creighton Baseball to a 4-0 win over Kansas State on Friday, April 5.
The victory pushed hte Bluejays to 15-6 on the season, while Kansas State fell to 12-19 overall.
Creighton got all the offense it would need in the third inning against K-State ace Griffin Hassall, scoring four times against the talented freshman who entered the night having allowed just four earned runs in his first 19.1 innings as a collegian. The Bluejay rally began in with one down in the frame as catcher slapped a single through the left side.
