Poor Shooting Night Undoes Women's Hoops in 62-53 Loss at Georgetown

Washington, D.C. -- A rough night from the field saw the Creighton women's basketball team shoot 5-of-27 (19%) in the first half as the Bluejays fell to Georgetown 62-53 on Friday, February 1st.

The loss dropped Creighton to 10-11 on the season and 4-6 in BIG EAST action, while Georgetown moved to 10-11 overall and 4-6 in conference play.

Junior led Creighton with 17 points off the bench, while senior closed with 13 points. Georgetown got a game-high 23 points from Dorothy Adomako and 13 from Dionna White.

Creighton returns to the hardwood on Sunday, Feb.
