Holding your opponent to 29.6% from the field usually will win basketball games. Unfortunately for the Creighton, they only shot 25.8% themselves as Providence squeaks out a win against the Bluejays 50-48 after Kris Dunn finishes the comeback with a shot at the end of regulation that decided to go in for the Friars.
Creighton played one of their best games on defense this season limiting Providence to 16-of-54 from the field and keeping Dunn under control for the first 33 minutes of the game. With Providence leading 48-46, Maurice Watson drove the lane to score the basket to tie things up with just under 12 seconds remaining.
