The Creighton men’s basketball team jumped all over Providence early in the second half and looked to cruise to victory, up by 16 points at one point. However, the Friars fought back to send the game into overtime. This time, the Bluejays closed out the game, and got their fourth straight victory, taking down Providence, 76-70.
Ty-Shon Alexander led five Bluejays in double-figures with 17 points, while Martin Krampelj gathered up a double-double, all in the second half and overtime, with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Kaleb Joseph came off the bench, contributing 12 points in the victory.
