RIGA, LATVIA – Incoming Creighton freshman Ryan Nembhard's double-double helped Canada to a bronze medal at the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup in a 101-92 come-from-behind win vs. Serbia on Sunday in Latvia.
Nembhard had 21 points and a game-high 10 assists in 36 minutes of action, adding two steals and a rebound. He will finish as the lone player in the 16-team tournament to post multiple point/assist double-doubles. In seven games in Latvia, Nembhard averaged 15.
