OMAHA, Neb. – Junior Kate Mullally allowed only one hit in the circle and the Bluejay offense delivered 12 hits as the Creighton softball team downed Providence 10-0 in five innings on Friday afternoon at the Creighton Sports Complex.
The Bluejays improve to 12-10 on the year and 2-3 in BIG EAST play, while Providence falls to 17-8 overall and 4-3 in conference action.
Creighton's offense was firing on all cylinders on Friday, scoring two runs in the second and third innings before plating six runs on five hits in the fourth, including a grand slam home run by Emma Rosonke.
