OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's track team has been honored for having the top GPA in the country, while the women had the third-highest mark. Both squads garnered U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team recognition on Monday.
The Bluejay men owned a nation-leading 3.77 GPA, while Creighton's women earned a collective 3.80 GPA to take third place. Creighton was the nation's only school with both genders owning a 3.75 GPA or better as well as the only school with both men's and women's teams in the top 10 of their respective genders.
