CHICAGO, Ill. – Tied at 3-2 with only top singles matches remaining, sophomores Kirtan Patel and Yuma Daijima claimed a pair of three-set victories to help the Creighton men's tennis team clinch a 4-3 come-from-behind win over DePaul on Saturday night in Chicago, Ill.
The win propels the Bluejays to 4-2 on the year, while DePaul drops to 1-2 overall.
Trailing 3-2 in the overall dual, Creighton needed wins from both Patel and Yuma Daijima to secure the come-from-behind victory. Daijima started the rally with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-2 victory over Sven Moser to level the score at 3-3.
