OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's tennis team suffered a 4-3 loss to Nebraska-Omaha in a match that lasted nearly three and a half hours on Friday night at the Miracle Hill Tennis Center .
The Bluejays moved to 1-3, while the Mavericks improved to 1-3.
Creighton opened the night by earning the doubles point. The Bluejays dropped the No. 2 doubles match before winning at the other two positions. Joe Hoff and Stratton Brown combined for a 6-3 win at No. 3, while Mac Mease and Nick Campbell needed a tiebreaker to clinch the first point of the match, as the Creighton duo picked up a 7-3 victory in the tiebreaker at the top position.
