LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Creighton men's tennis team opened its spring trip to Florida with a 7-0 victory over the University of Rochester on Monday afternoon.
The win, Creighton's second straight 7-0 sweep, improved the Bluejays to 2-3 on the season.
Creighton captured the doubles point, winning all three matches in pairs competition.
Brooks Kendall started singles play with a quick 6-1, 6-1 victory over Rochester's Aaron Mevorach, and Harrison Lang made it 3-0 Bluejays after a 6-1, 6-3 triumph over Ian Baranowski. Alex Koca would clinch the team win with a 6-4, 6-0 win against Ben Shapiro.
