Iowa City, Iowa -- The Creighton men's tennis team lost a non-conference match at No. 63 Iowa on Friday, falling 7-0 in Iowa City. The Bluejays forced tiebreakers in four of six singles matches, but the Hawkeyes prevailed each time.
Iowa improved to 10-10 with the victory, while Creighton fell to 6-8 with the loss.
Iowa won both of the doubles matches that were completed, winning 6-2 at No. 1 doubles and 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
The Hawkeyes led 2-0 before Dominic Patrick defeated Brooks Kendall at No.4 singles, 6-1, 7-6 (7-5).
