NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. -- The Creighton men's tennis team battled but dropped a 5-2 decision to No. 60 St. John's in a BIG EAST matchup on Wednesday afternoon at the National Tennis Center in New York City.
The Bluejays fell to 7-6 on the year and 1-2 in BIG EAST play with the loss, while the Red Storm improved to 12-3 overall and 1-0 in league action.
The host Red Storm earned Wednesday's double point with a 6-3 win at the No. 1 doubles position and a 6-4 triumph at the No. 2 doubles spot.
