LINCOLN, Neb. – The Creighton men's tennis team fell 4-0 against in-state rival Nebraska on Sunday afternoon at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center.
The loss dropped the Bluejays to 8-4 on the season, while Nebraska vaulted to 7-3 with the victory.
Anton Sheep and Lars Johann paired up to lead the charge for the Cornhuskers in doubles play. The duo, ranked 42 in the nation, recorded a 6-1 victory at the top doubles spot, before Joan Torres and Calvin Mueller clinched the doubles point with an identical 6-1 win on the No. 2 doubles court.
