TULSA, Okla -- The Creighton men's soccer team allowed two goals during the final five minutes and fell 2-1 to Tulsa at the Hurricane Soccer & Track Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Bluejays dropped only their second match of the season -- their first since Sept. 2 at No. 2 Clemson -- and ended a BIG EAST-best nine-match unbeaten streak.
No. 6 Creighton is now 7-2-3, while Tulsa improved to 6-4-2.
Ricky Lopez-Espin gave Creighton the lead with a goal during the 25th minute. The junior sent a shot from just outside the right side of the goal to the inside of the far post for his fourth goal of the season.
